Our courses target essential job skills sought by employers, and especially those in the Northwest Missouri and Kansas City Metro area. Admission to the university is not required to enroll.

Two ways to learn! In our instructor-led courses, you study and interact with a cohort over a six-week schedule. Courses start monthly with twice-weekly lesson plans. For the independent learner, our self-paced courses provide access to all lessons immediately with up to three months to complete.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federally funded program that pays 100 percent of training costs for an approved program.
The grant addresses workforce needs by helping adults pursue a certificate, degree, or industry-recognized credential in an area designated as high need.
The My Career Advancement Account Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses.
Refunds for Continuing Professional Education programs vary because some programs are 18 months in duration while others can be completed in less than a month. Unless otherwise noted on the program page, refunds are available within the first two weeks, beginning with the date of enrollment, provided that no more than 25% of the program has been completed.
